My responsibilities include checking patients in and out. I collect their intake forms and insurance information, check for their referrals and collect copays. Responsibilities include answering phone calls and scheduling appointments, taking messages for the physicians and the nurses. I prepared charts for office visits by collecting the testing that was ordered. I provide the nurses with procuring prior authorizations for testing, ordered for our patients.


I have scheduled surgeries for up to three physicians. This process includes scheduling pre-admission testing for the patient's surgery: calling insurance companies to check eligibility and get prior authorizations when needed.

I help patients with billing questions.
