  • Follow standard operating procedures to perform various ELISAs
  • Perform tail bleeding, dosing with antigens primarily using gastric and IN inoculation, and cardiac bleeds on mice
  • Responsible for timely analysis of assays results to determine immunological response to dosing antigens for vaccine development
  • Using aseptic techniques plate and grow Campylobacter jejuni and its mutants to perform binding assays and collection for assay banks
  • Perform binding assay using the Cytek NL 1000 flow cytometer and FlowJo for analysis
  • Prepare various buffers, antibodies, and substrates to be used in assays
  • Maintain laboratory space and supplies, write SSPs/SOPs, develop and perform assay optimization as needed
  • Primary contact to receive, possess, and store clinical trial samples with outside collaborators
  • Isolate PBMCs from whole blood from clinical trial volunteers for cell base testing
  • Preserve PBMCs in liquid nitrogen for future testing
  • Used GraphPad Prism and Excel for ELISAs’ data analysis.

Associate Principal Investigator, Immunoassay Method Development

Q2 Solutions
Durham, NC
