Using the telephone provides support and resources to individuals calling the Santa Clara County shelter hotline. Using HMIS inputs clients data and sends out referrals to emergency shelter providers throughout the county. (Translates for Spanish speaking clients.) Works closely with family shelters to place families.
Dispatches vehicles at Apple Park that transport Apple employees. Responsibilities include answering calls from passengers who have questions or are calling to book rides. Monitoring shuttles and coaches that operate all over the bay area and on campus. Radioing drivers, communicating with vendors, and sending out advisory alerts. Lastly, the job also includes monitoring the email boxes and forwarding emails to the correct person. As well as data entry of lost items on the coaches and shuttles.
Initially hired by the city of San Jose to work as a "Vaccine Champion" doing contractor work for the Santa Clara County's Public Health Department. Job required traveling to different locations throughout the county and hosting mobile COVID vaccine clinics. Responsibilities included translating, helping Spanish speakers fill out paperwork, line monitoring, registering them into Healthlink, observation, giving out surveys, and doing reminder & cold calls. In July 2021, got promoted to work out of the office in south San Jose as a logistics coordinator. Would pack/ organize clinical supplies for the clinics and inventor clinical supplies. Then in late September 2021, continued to do the same job but under a new employer, Heluna Health who also had a contract with the county.
Fulfilled customers' online orders using an app on an iPhone and would then stage them for delivery. The work environment was extremely fast-paced and independent. Abided by COVID regulations, worked for several hours wearing gloves and masks.
Was customers last point of contact therefore it was her responsibility to assure customers had a good shopping experience; her main job was to provide customers with excellent customer service. It was her responsibility to ring items out for customers and ensure they got the correct change. Fluent in Spanish.
