I began my nursing career at SRHS-Restorative Care. I started as a CNA, and upon graduation of my BSN, became a nurse at this facility. What an amazing start to my career! I was surrounded by the MOST amazing team! Multi-Disciplinary patient rounding was the most awesome experience for learning and giving the best care possible in such a challenging atmosphere! My fellow nurses surrounding me had decades of experience and were more than happy to take me under their mothering wings. I am forever grateful for this beginning. Because of this team, (Doctors/Nurses/Management) I was able to experience a love for my career! It has helped me to be a better mentor to the incoming younger nurses I meet as well. I continue to pull from the well of knowledge & compassion that this facility gave to me in the very beginning. This L-Tach facility with long-term vent weaning with great success for our patients thankfully became the most solid base I could have ever asked for to my career!
