In the role of District Literacy Coach I am organized and have excellent interpersonal skills with all stakeholders. This experience has enabled me to collaborate closely with teachers, support staff,and administrators to develop individualized intervention strategies that maximize student outcomes. I am experienced in collecting quantitative and qualitative data in order to make effective plans and decisions. My experience as a Dyslexia Interventionist empowered me to identify the deficits of reading in a struggling reader and ensure that young children are provided a developmentally appropriate experience in early literacy acquisition. Furthermore, I am adaptable in coordinating with peers as well as working independently to achieve goals. My ultimate goal is that all young children have access to a safe, quality, developmentally appropriate learning environment.
