- I was in charge of watching cheese come out of towers and making sure that it was bagged properly. If the light on the tower went off, I would have to handbag it, and there was a screen that I had to keep an eye on as well to ensure the towers were operating properly. I was also in charge of making sure that the bagged blocks of cheese were sealed properly. We had to keep the towers clean by doing CIP, which involves us scrubbing the towers, cleaning the sealers, and the floors. There was an area where I sometimes had to work, watching all the sealed blocks on the conveyors. If a block wasn't sealed, I had to rebag it and seal it again.
- There were two other jobs that I did, which were Utility, and I was in charge of keeping an eye on the tower operators, making sure the towers were working properly. If a tower was in need of fixing, I had to call Maintenance to come and fix it. I was also in charge of giving breaks to the tower operators and getting boxes of bags for the towers; I also had to take out barrels. The other job was a floater in which I had to make barrels and foam the floors, but I also had to give breaks to the tower operators.
