mm WavemmWave backscatter systems that empower low-power IoT devices to achieve high data rates and reliability. By building upon the foundations laid by research such as mmComb and mmSV, I aim to contribute to the advancement of next-generation wireless systems for IoT, vehicular, and smart city applications.
My research focus lies in enabling reliable and high-speed mmWave backscatter by strategically leveraging the advantages of millimeter wave technology. This aligns closely with the work of Assistant Professor Yoon Chae (UTA), particularly his contributions such as:
- mmComb — high-speed mmWave commodity WiFi backscatter for low-power IoT.
- mmSV — vehicular mmWave networking using street-view imagery for reliable connectivity.
I am eager to extend these approaches into practical IoT deployments, bridging the gap between energy-constrained devices and high-capacity mmWave systems.
