While studying at an international school and meeting people from a multitude of backgrounds, I have been an intern at multiple governmental bodies in Armenia, including the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Parliament, and the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs. Although getting an internship was very competitive, I believe my previous volunteering experiences helped my profile stand out for consideration. As an intern in the communications department, I had the opportunity to contribute to multiple works regarding the interactions between Armenia and European nations. Thanks to this opportunity, I received months of experience in studies about foreign relations and the role of the Armenian community in these relations. I would love to expand on my knowledge and experience in international relations and diplomacy further at governmental bodies in the U.S., and believe that my past experience would aid my future professional pursuits in these fields. In the U.S., I applied for an internship at many legal offices, and was accepted to a legal office named "Legal Project 87." At this office, I have been assigned homework of studying various laws and their history. I have also been a part of a large pro bono campaign of helping over 200 clients at this office. I hope to continue this path in other legal fields in the U.S.
