  • In charge of a small team performing maintenance and watchkeeping duties in the AMS during the Dry Dock period.
  • Liaising with the Yard personnel associated with all the integration work that was being performed in the AMS.
  • Deputizing for the Maintenance Supt while he was on R & R signing all the yard permits for work taking place in the AMS & FMS and attending the Yard daily activities meeting in the mornings to discuss the jobs that would be taking place under my jurisdiction.
  • Took part in witnessing all tank inspections in the AMS / MGO Storage / Settling and Service Tanks / Fresh Water Tanks / Bilge & Oily Bilge Tanks.
  • Took part in various OTPS on Topsides equipment. Power Gen Turbines / Gas Compressors / Offloading Howser HPU / Quick Release Hook / Riser Pullin System. / Forward and Aft Fire Pumps. / Deluge System.
  • Was part of the second leg sail from Cape town SA to onsite Guyana.
  • Now the AMS is fully operational, and I am supervising the daily operations and maintenance.
  • Preparing for first oil on Topsides.
  • Preparing PTWs on the One vision electronic PTW system.
  • Also involved in the CMMS.

  • While the vessel was in layup in Batam my position onboard was that of SBM OBR my rotation was 28/28.
  • Supervising and witnessing the preservation that was being carried out and maintained by the V-Ships crew.
  • Responsible for updating the CMMS and raising any W.O, s that were required to be logged during the Layup period.
  • I was reporting to the OPS Readiness Manager onshore and compiling a weekly Power Point Presentation for him to present to the client EXXON explaining what activities had been completed on a weekly basis.
  • The V-Ships team and I were performing weekly routines on FWD firewater Pumps x 2 and Lifeboats x 2 and 1 FCR.
  • Also, we were maintaining the Temporary Diesel Generators that were onboard supplying the power.
  • Weekly manual rotation of all accessible pumps down in the Aft Machinery Space (AMS).
