● Conducted 200 trials as part of independent research project under Dr. Lynn Adler in pollinator health and ecology

● Investigated and resolved lab-wide data collection problem related to bee health/activity levels; research featured at UMass Science Fair poster session

● Conducted research under mentorship of Professor Gao Liancun on water purification; recorded experimental data and analysis from more than 50 samples

• Organize, produce, publicize local monthly environmental protection initiatives to raise awareness of pollution, waste, recycling, and other issues
• Spearheaded successful petition drive to urge Lake Success Village mayor to adopt new policies for recycling enforcement (spring 2020)
• Attended Village Committee’s monthly meetings; advocated for adoption of new environmental policies; canvassed and then presented petition with over 500 signatures (spring 2020)

• Worked with International Medical Center, translating between Chinese and English for patients during registration process
• Helped translate for foreign patients; proposed faster patient registration process; highly praised by the President of Hospital for leadership and creativity during the internship

● Collected 200 pieces of personal protective equipment from Qingdao Central Hospital for donation to local Great Neck hospital

● Held donations for about 80 medical staff; created and distributed motivational posters and letters to local physicians and nursing teams

• Constructed, stock, and maintain an Essentials Closet at Waterville United Church of Christ for those in need of clothing and toiletries
• Contribute to maintaining, sorting, and distributing varied inventory, including personal and household items, to local people in need

• Attended online meetings with foreign hospitals; helped with the translation of doctor-patients communications
