Safety Operations and Support Services.

Responsible for overseeing the rebranding, developing, coordinating, and collaborating with all educational partners to ensure that direct student behavior support frameworks were effectively implemented for schools and families. Areas of responsibility included:

• Family Concerns and Resolutions Office & Services: Collaborating with principals, and parent/guardians to address concerns/issues impacting students at their school site. Serving as a resource advocate to support families and schools with accessing equitable and inclusive services for the child.
• Staff Professional Development (certificated & classified): Expanded staff training opportunities. Focusing on building capacity to provide direct (Tier I and II) behavioral supports and interventions for students using evidence based programs.
• School–Community Engagement Supports: Collaborating with all educational partners to support ongoing positive relationships between schools, families & community.

Safety and Security Services

Responsible for leading, directing, assessing, and evaluating the safety programs and measures throughout the district. Coordinating and collaborating with educational partners to implement appropriate safety and emergency protocols that are necessary to ensure a secure educational environment for students, staff, and community.
