• Supervise and coordinate the work of Oilers, SSTWs, and other personnel to ensure efficient maintenance and operations.

• Conduct and review performance evaluations to assess employee effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop, review, and assign work tasks for the maintenance and operations crew, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.

• Create, manage, and close out work orders using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

• Generate work orders for vendors and CV contractors to facilitate necessary repairs and services.

• Operate the switchboard as an Operating Engineer to maintain plant functionality under both dry and wet weather conditions.

• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and operational activities for compliance and reporting purposes.

• Ensure all equipment is properly locked out and tagged out (LOTO) before personnel or contractors perform job tasks, prioritizing safety.

• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to discuss job scope, conduct site walk-throughs, and ensure contract requirements are met.

• Supervise subordinates performing duties operating, maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in a wastewater treatment plant
• Oversee crew working in confined space areas and Tanks
• Take special samples and perform testing as required
• Assured accuracy of all Federal and plant log sheets
• Manage men during daily plant operations
• Perform necessary lab work for daily plant operation
• Knowledgeable in CMMS
• Accept all chemical deliveries
• Assist plant in managing Odor Control system

• Operate, maintain, repair machinery, equipment and structures in Wastewater Treatment Plants
• Overhaul and preserve all plant flow through and storage tanks
• Repair plumbing line, valves, unions in brass, copper, p.v.c and c.p.v.c throughout plant
• Test wastewater and sewage samples as well as perform confined space entry duties
• Removal and disposal of equipment, motors, air filters, chlorination equipment, heat exchanger equipment, valves, pipes and meters
• Take samples and perform tests relating to sewage composition and clean water quality
• Read meters, gauges and charts as well as record the readings, keeping operating logs and other records
• Clean and Maintained structures, equipment and grounds as well as clean, wash, and perform minor maintenance on vehicles
• Perform rigging and hoisting; handle grit, screenings, grease and sludge and operate welding and burning equipment

• Repair and Maintain well and booster on ground water facilities

• Code enforcement - ERA certify lead paint inspector

• Installing sprinklers, chillers, All phase of water, waste and vent
• Running jobs such as reading blueprints and setting up work for 5 co-workers
