I'm an undergrad senior majoring in Biology, Environmental Studies, and Peace Studies at Manchester University, with a concentration in Natural history, and an interest in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. As President of the United Sexualities and Genders Club and Vice President of the Environmental Club, I value leadership skills and fostering inclusive, sustainable environments.
I enjoy working with people, traveling, and learning how our global ecosystems function! I'm excited to apply my knowledge and skills to conservation efforts, environmental education, and advocacy!
Assist with weekly labs, prep and clean materials, support students during experiments, host study halls, and help develop lecture resources.
Support campus intercultural clubs and organizations, such as United Sexualities and Genders, Black Student Union, Latin Student Union, Asian Awareness Association, and campus interfaith and chapel needs.
Manchester University partnership with a local wasp removal company focused on environmentally friendly wasp removals/relocations. Assess sites, remove wasps with a vacuum, and clean up the nests. Relocate the native species to a new, safe location to continue growing. All invasive species removed were frozen and transported to labs for venom immunotherapy research.
Work on the Manchester campus community garden; planting crops, and maintaining and watering the garden.
Spending time at a local sustainable farm, learning about their practices, and helping harvest and farm the crops.
Community building opportunities such as helping with the local summer camp, Farm School, to help educate and watch the Montessori kids.
Food bank volunteering, protests in town, watering local library plants, etc; overall community engagement
