Volunteer experience

  • Teacher’s Assistant, Tammy’s School of Dance, Over five years, I helped the faculty lead classes, choreograph routines, and teach each and every child.
  • Senior Captain, High School’s Dance Team, I led the entire team throughout the season as the only captain. From there, I learned how to lead a group, adhere to everyone’s wishes as best as I could, and I learned life skills that will equip me to be a teacher in the future.
  • Dance Captain, High School’s Musical, I worked with my choreographer to create routines, lead the cast, and create some incredible shows. I learned how to be a great leader from these positions, but I also learned how to work as a team of leaders to make decisions and come to compromises we could all agree with.
