Founded in 1858, in London, the YW's mission was to provide a haven for both US and foreign-born individuals. The YW offered safe housing and educational resources, this filled an important void in 19th Century New York and they quickly grew. Today, the non-profit has a dedicated mission to eliminate racism, empower women, promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for underserved communities and minorities. As a stand-alone HR department, I oversee all aspects of the human resources and operational functions for the field and line staff as well as HQ. I continually work in partnership with the COO, CEO and Sr. Director of Programs to improve upon employment practices, change management/ culture and alignment of the organization's short and long-term goals.

  • Delivery of core HR services: advising on company-specific compensation, benefits, recruiting, organizational structure, and talent development strategies.
