Summary

My primary motivation is to learn and gain clinical experience as much as possible. I am currently on the pre-nursing track and plan to declare my major as nursing. I was raised in an environment that believes that a life lived for serving others is the only one worth living and pursuing. I want to aid in combating current diseases and be involved in preventing severe diseases by being an exemplary provider that my future patients can depend on. I am interested in gaining practical experience in clinical environments and learning the ins and outs of providing patient care. My goal is to do a little bit of everything and develop a broad clinical skillset, learning how to deal with stressful moments, assessing patients, and assisting medical professionals. To become a well-rounded health professional with a wide range of skills and experience that I can carry throughout my future career. With treating patients with diverse and possibly complicated conditions.

PLAYING VOLLEYBALL, EXERCISING, DRAWING, COOKING, BAKING, AND SEWING

I like the competitive nature of volleyball. The experience that playing for clubs has given me helped me grow as a person and an athlete. Throughout my years of playing, I have learned that resilience is the key to growth. I like that volleyball constantly challenges me to be a better version of myself. I learned how important it is to lead by example, build trust, and hold accountability. Leadership, strategy, and communication are also critical to collectively succeeding as a team. Volleyball helped me identify my strengths inside and outside of the sport. I see myself not only as a teammate but also as a friend who values making bonds on and off the court. I am also a hard worker and a quick learner. Volleyball helped me value being consistent and disciplined. Because of this, I tend to cut to the chase and accomplish the tasks I need to do in order to achieve my goals

During the pandemic lockdown, I was really into exercising indoors and running outside to maintain my health because I couldn't play volleyball. It turned into something I enjoy, and it has been strong and consistent in the last 4 years.
I have always loved drawing and crafts since I was young, and it's always a nice break from all the work and exams. I also love cooking and baking for myself and others. I love experimenting and trying new recipes and I look forward to results after. I recently got into sewing from a friend. She taught me how to embroider on fabric and I find it a great past time.
