Grace Feigenbutz

I have worked my past two years in the childcare field. At this job I was an assistant in the preschool 3's and 4's classroom during the school year. I also worked in the summer daycare program with ages 3-12.

As a childcare worker I used many skills such as:

- Engaging children in educational games and activities to build social and motor skills.

- Monitored behavior and provided guidance to promote positive interactions among the children.

- Communicated with Children and Families on a daily basis about behavior's and provided support to families.

- Maintained a safe and clean classroom environment for children to grow in by following health and safety guidelines.

- Followed daily routines to provide structure.

- Communicated and collaborated with other staff members.

- Cleaning skills such as sanitizing tabletops, toys, frequently touched areas of play. I was responsible for cleaning bathrooms and classrooms daily.

-Problem solving through situations and maintained a positive attitude in all circumstances.

My first job I worked at an ice cream shop for a summer by making and serving ice cream and food to customers. I was responsible for serving customers at a window and drive-through window.

As an Ice Creme Server I developed skills such as:

- Provided customer service by serving ice cream and food to customers in a fast paced environment while maintaining professional and friendly service.

- Cleaning counters, sweeping, moping floors, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and followed all guidelines concerning health and safety.

- Helped customers by providing recommendations and answer questions regarding the menu to the best of my ability.

- Collaborated and communicated with staff members to ensure productivity.
