Dedicated volunteer with experience at Lutheran World Relief, where I distribute meals for the community and craft quilts for those in need. Skilled in teamwork and problem-solving, I helped to managed donations and events at Days For Girls, showcasing my attention to detail and commitment to service. Proficient in basic Spanish and customer service.
Lutheran World Relief is an institution for teens to find volunteer work for the community. The Kindness Project is a charity that sends people into downtown Salt Lake City. There, I have cooked hot meals and handed out dinners to the homeless. Lutheran World Relief quilting is a branch of LWR itself. There, I sew quilts and ship orders out to churches to hand out to the congregation who are in need.
I worked for my grandma, the head of operations for the Madison, WI, branch. This meant I sewed the basic parts as well as collecting donations, packaging orders, and helping to organize company events.
I have multiple certificates, including Digital Business Applications and Personal and Family Finances. I obtained these by taking semester-long classes at school, then taking a state-issued test for proficiency.
