Camp Wamp is a specialized summer camp catering to children with varying degrees of cerebral palsy. Each counselor is responsible for the comprehensive care of an assigned camper, including feeding, activities, and personal hygiene assistance. In my role, I was tasked with providing dedicated care to a camper with the most severe case of cerebral palsy, characterized by complete wheelchair dependence, non-verbal communication, and reliance on a feeding tube. Through hands-on experience, I acquired the necessary skills to proficiently manage tasks such as changing the feeding tube and attending to all other essential care needs that the camper was unable to perform independently.
