I have not had much job experience but, in my time volunteering with Love Life, I have been able to recognize the skills and abilities that have come naturally but also with being dedicated to a great cause and the experiences that came with it. This small volunteering "job" was what got me to recognize the skills that I have always had and now wanting to grow them with a job that can stabilize me while I pursue a career. My goals are to provide for my family as I will be turning 18 soon and heading off to college. I want to be financially supported while going to school for my future career. Lastly, I am hoping that whatever job I am able to get will help me grow hard-working skills, diligence, and integrity in my character.
While volunteering with Love Life some main events included, going out to abortion clinics to lovingly engage with mothers and families of all backgrounds, whether pregnant or not, to try and help them in their current life situation. Handing out resource pamphlets to anyone who would accept them walking in and out of each facilities. Speaking with willing people who were going to these clinics for any problem they had, not limited to abortion services. I have experience helping set up special events like our prayer walks. I would also help my team with writing emails and text messages to people we helped and were willing to be contacted, and others who were interested in getting involved with Love Life.
Some hobbies of mine include, writing, reading, and spending quality time with friends. These are important to me because they help me clear my mind and instill good values in my life. I want to pursue writing/journalism as a career and that would be my only other important educational priority aside from my job. Reading helps me to clear my mind and grow knowledge that I did not have before about other eras in time or peoples personal stories. Lastly, spending time with family and friends makes me a very social outgoing person that learns to work with others and value others.
