Activities

I believe in seeing everything as a learning experience. I am passionate about helping others, especially children. And I love working with people from other cultures. One specific example of this was when I volunteered at an orphanage in the Philippines. While there, I was able to work with infants and toddlers, once a week for several months. This, along with other experiences like babysitting, camp counseling, and working in afterschool care has given me a passion for working with the next generation. As I have started my teaching journey, I have had the privilege of working at an amazing school with a supportive staff and administration. I have been involved in various committees, particularly with MTSSB. I have tutored after school for the past two years, for fourth and first grade students. My school has been a part of the No Excuses University (NEU) initiative, and I have learned about the importance of collaboration when it comes to creating a positive school climate.
