I have delivered care for adult and pediatric patients in post-acute and subacute settings.
I have worked every shift - AM, PM, NOC, and 12-hour shifts.
I have never had a med error or any sort of disciplinary issue.
I worked in long-term care, assisted living, hospice and skilled nursing facilities until Covid, at which time I started picking up per diem shifts via Clipboard Health.
I have worked with the elderly, adults, children, and people in subacute care with traumatic brain injuries requiring 24/7 nursing care.
I have worked with immunocompromised HIV/AIDS patients.
I have worked with medically fragile children in a subacute setting.
I have experience with trach care, G-tube care, J-tube care, colostomies, and enteral feeding pumps.
I found working with Clipboard the most convenient way for me to finish prereqs and finish my RN and that's been my employment for the past five years.
I have trained in new grad RNs when I was an LVN.
My weak points would be IVs and admissions as they were outside of my scope as an LVN, and my experience with IVs and admissions was limited in my clinical rotations.
