  • Nominated and elected by peers for this year long leadership position within the House System for the College at Southeastern.
  • Created a community within my group of students (was about 50 or so) by sending out group messages daily, informing students about events in a timely manner, and spending time with them both communally and individually.
  • Planned events for both my House and the entire House System (100+) that required detailed planning, delegation, budget tracking and allocation, and communication with other leaders and the Student Life office.
  • Created and shared a detailed calendar that informed students and staff/faculty about events happening within our House, the House System, and campus wide.
  • Worked closely with a team of 4 other leaders for the entirety of the year, meeting weekly and leading most of these team meetings.
  • Learned and demonstrated adaptability as plans quickly could go wrong/change and I would need to pivot in an efficient, effective, and calm manner.
