I am an incoming freshman at East Tennessee State University going into Biomedical Health Sciences! I was accepted into the the Early Admissions Pathway (EAP) at Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy where I plan on pursuing a career as a Pharmacist! I currently work at CVS Pharmacy as a Certified and Licensed Pharmacy Technician and have worked here for 2 years! This job has taught me patience, customer, service, strong attention to detail, and commitment to my team and community! I have always had a passion for helping others in my community and during my time in high school I had over 150 community service hours! I volunteered at nursing homes where I made crafts and just got to spend quality time with residents who don't normally get visited. I coached a little kids soccer team where I got to teach them the importance of working as a team and also to be competitive! I was active in many clubs in high school where I helped fundraise for breast cancer and several nonprofit organizations. I was an active member in Young life and I spent some of my weekends volunteering at Young life camps cooking meals and serving over 400 campers! I played varsity soccer all 4 years of high school and my senior year I was chosen to lead my team as team captain! I am super excited to get started and involved on campus at ETSU and I can't wait for more opportunities to give back to my community.
