- At Sanford I aid over 6 to 10 patients per shift assisting 5-7 nurses. I routinely monitored and record patients' vitals including blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar levels. I also carefully transferred patients into beds, and wheelchairs using gait belts and other tools.
- I also work as Hospital Unit Clerk on my floor. My responsibilities in this position is coordinating patient admissions, maintaining medical records, and assisting with administrative tasks to support my healthcare team.
- In both of these roles I respect patient's privacy and dignity, upholding all hospital policies and HIPPA regulations.
A little bit of what I did there was 1 aided 5 residents per shift with routine tasks including feeding, bathing, dressing, and exercise. I carefully transferred my residents into bed, wheelchairs, and tables using gait belts and other tools. Also made end of life special for the ones that needed it. I was always there for my residents when they needed it the most.
