Work History
Captain/Designer/Coder/Driver for Robotics Team
3 Years 8 Months
Seattle Preparatory School Robotics Club | 09.2022 - 05.2026
I spent 10–16 hours each week working on my team's robot as part of the VEX V5 high school competitions, constantly refining designs and code. I have been part of the program since my freshman year and have finished my fourth year in the program.
My team and I qualified for the State competition during my junior year, and as a senior, I served as one of the captains responsible for leading the entire club at competitions.
Throughout my time in robotics, I have learned CAD using Fusion 360 and have designed a new robot each season. I have also become proficient in C++, creating updated autonomous routines and driver-control programs every year.
Intern
AI Proteins | 07.2024 - 07.2024
I interned at a biotech lab in Boston called AI Proteins, where researchers design mini-proteins in large quantities using machine-learning algorithms to fight cancer and support weight loss among other things
Assisted with mini protein design, sequenced DNA, and completed Mini Preps (process where DNA is cleaned out of cells to be sequenced).
Supported staff members in their daily tasks, reducing workload burden and allowing for increased focus on higher-priority assignments.
