Summary

I'm a licensed plumbing contractor, i have been working 10+ years in the field. I work on residential and commercial plumbing both. I have worked on a lot of different plumbing, heating and cooling jobs. I also have a lot of experience running equipment on digs. I have been able to take a lot of knowledge away from every job. I am constantly learning new things, I have gathered enough knowledge i can operate and fix almost any plumbing situation i run into on the job, along with heating and cooling issues. I can work inside, outside, underground, in the ground, in the attic, in the wall if i can fit i can work. I will show up to work on time and i will do what is required of me to make sure my jobs are completed in the time expected, or faster. I can keep journeyman busy, and get my task completed at the same time. I am up to date on the current plumbing codes in Indiana.

  • Able to study a blueprint and and lay all of the pipe and water lines in their correct locations. i am also licensed to run jobs and pull the permits required to complete them.
  • Able to work with any type of piping, including the older piping material from cast iron drain pipe to orangeburg, i have had to deal with almost all of it working in the country.
  • Have plenty of experience with running pvc drains in newer commercial areas too. i have moved entire bathrooms in factories, cutting the concrete, digging to the water and drain lines and making the connections needed to move the fixtures.
  • Work in residential and commercial areas almost an equal amount here. i know how to enter a customers house or a business and leave with them satisfied. Always try to leave the area cleaner than before my work began.
  • Have ran jobs and completed jobs with an apprentice with 1 or less years of experience, and i am able to train and help journeyman obtain their plumbing license.
  • Have worked in crawl spaces where i have had to dig my way thru the house to fix issues under the house, after identifying where the issue was using locator equipment.
  • Can learn any type of technology fast and i am up to date on most of the rigid equipment currently being used.
  • Can run roto rooters and jeters and clean out any type of drain. i have ran a jeter in up to 10" pipe in a factory.
  • Can identify a problem with a gas or electric water heater and fix it and i can remove and replace either type as well.
  • Can work on any type of well, i can replace control boxes and pressure switches. i can also identify what the problem on a no water is, and replace the correct part. i can ohm out the pump motor, and i can test the voltage at my switch.
  • Have experience changing every size of submersible pump and running new black plastic and wire with it.
  • Have experience changing out every size of pressure tank from small expansions to the pressure tanks at our dairy's.
  • Comfortable working with an electrical meter and operating it to help me identify issues with pumps or any type of equipment i may be dealing with
  • Have used a locator many times to identify a break in pipe or to trace out a line and dig them up.
  • Able to work with gas line and measure, cut, and thread black pipe to the necessary length.
  • Have pressure tested water line, gas line, and infloor heat in order to make sure it is ready for concrete or for drywall.
  • Have laid infloor heat 20+ times, i know how to cut and lay the foam down, and then lay our loops for the heat.
  • Have experience running vents thru the roof and then placing a Flashing on the roof and sealing it tight, making sure there will never be an water leaking through the flashing.
  • Have experience installing tankless WH and making sure they run correctly after installation, i have also installed circulation lines for hot water.
  • Have experience changing the orfus's inside of tankless wh and inside of furnace gas valves.
  • Have experience installing hanging heaters at many different heights in many different situations and running their vent outside, making a tight and neat seal on the outside.
  • Have experience operating excavators and trenchers of small and large sizes.
  • Have dug as deep as 8-10' and i have trenched lines 150+ feet long.
  • Have experience making metal to run duct work and making metal caps, and metal transition pieces.
  • Working in warren i have worked in a lot of places and areas that are not comfortable or easy to access, but i have found we can always find a way to get the job done.
  • Have experience running copper lines of all different sizes and flaring copper of all different sizes.
  • Have experience with soldering copper and cutting and cleaning the copper for solder.
  • Have experience using a butane torch to solder copper line sets for a/c, using silver solder.
  • Know hot to install a coil and condenser and connect and solder the lines, pump it down and open up the compressor, so the unit will run.
  • Know how to remove a furnace and install a new one, and build the metal around the new furnace to make everything seal up tightly.
  • Can also remove just the coil and install a new box, by editing the metal work or by swapping the coils if metal work isn't necessary.
  • Have experience working on and installing thermostats and the wire from furnace to thermostat.
  • Capable of wiring up equipment of any type, using the manual to the equipment for reference when necessary.
  • Have been on call for around 2 years now, when im on call for a week i will take calls at any time of the night or day on weekend and any time of night on weeknights. i have taken no heats at 2-4 am.
  • Have worked 7 days in a week when necessary to complete the jobs we are doing.
  • Familiar with all types of pex fittings and i have used multiple style of tools and rings, to crimp the rings around the pex.
  • Have experience insulating water lines and houses to prevent freezing when and where it is needed.
  • Have experience busting concrete and digging holes to install sump and sewage pits in basements, for new sump pumps or for plumbing for a new downstairs restroom.
  • Have experience digging and installing sump pits in crawl spaces to get water out from under houses.
  • Have experience with generac generators and have had a license for 4 years. it is no longer valid, but i can reinstate it with an online class. with my license i can do work that will be backed by the warranty.
  • Have experience installing water softeners, and adding them to a residency that currently doesn't have one.
  • Have experience installing iron filters, and adding them to a residency that currently doesn't have one.
  • Have experience draining a house and filling the lines with antifreeze to protect the house from freezing while residents are gone for the winter.
  • Have experience running the smaller hand held roto rooters to clean out drains of 2" and smaller.
  • Have experience removing and installing toilets of all different style and sizes. i can also work on a broken stool and fix the flush valve, the flapper, or pull a leaking stool and replace the wax ring.
  • Have installed urinals and removed them and worked on them. i have changed the leaking seal on them also.
  • Have removed tubs and showers of all sizes and replaced them with showers and tubs of all sizes.
  • Have installed kitchen sinks of many different styles and worked on and fixed many different styles of kitchen sinks.

  • Have removed and then installed new vanity's of different kinds.
  • Have installed and worked on pedestal's.
  • Have experience drilling thru joyce and studs to get my lines through them and sleeving them when necessary.
  • Have experience hooking up kitchen sink garbage disposals and connecting them to the drain line.
  • Have experience hooking up double sink bowls and tying them into the drain.
  • Can install a pro vent when needed and know when a vent is required.
  • Have experience installing dishwashers and connecting them to the trap piping, or garbage disposal, and connecting to, or adding a water stop for the dishwasher.
  • Have experience running an ice maker line and box, and hooking it into the fridge and existing water line where needed.
  • Can make the transition from any type of older piping i run into, into updated pvc or pex, depending on what im working on.
  • Have experience hanging pipe and equipment from the ceiling and making it straight and level.

  • Can use bender's when needed to make sharp bends to connect the copper line sets.
  • Have removed old boiler systems and replaced them with a present day gas or electric furnace.
  • Have removed old copper, galvanized, quest, and cpvc lines and ran all new pex to entire homes.
  • Have removed old cast iron, and galvanized drain lines and ran all new pvc lines thru the house.
  • Have added on entire new bathrooms to upstairs where no drain or water piping originally was.
  • Have thawed frozen water lines under houses using a torch and using a salamander heater.
  • Have added heat runs to upstairs and returns to upstairs where there was previously no runs.
