- As section leader I help to lead and improve my section, as well as the band as a whole musically, emotionally and when it comes to marching band, visually.
- I have undergone plenty of changes and have had to adjust to things as my time has gone on and have been very successful in my role as section leader.
- I have gone through a strong and difficult process to gain the role of section leader, being chosen after a proccess of interview and a long decision period, the directors chose me to lead.

- I have studied music under 3 different directors in my 7 years of study, 3 years with Tony Strebig, 2 years with Bryen Warfield, and 2 years with Jordan Cain. I have spent time to get to know and learn from these people both and educators and people and can say I have learned a lot from each of them about how to approach teaching and music as a whole.
