Assistive Technology Coach serving District educators and families K3-12th grade, 2013-Current

• Designing/providing professional development/training for small and large groups (20-160 people) on use of Assistive Technology and software for Regular/Special Ed Teachers, Instructional Technology Champions, School Support Teachers, Library Media, Principals, Special Education Supervisors and other District Leaders.
• Promote inclusive practices with diverse teachers supporting diverse students.
• Disseminating AT information including old and updated technologies to support learning at both community- and District-sponsored events/activities.
• Assisting in enhancement of AT Implementation in classrooms across several regions while assigned to over 50 schools within District serving several hundred staff and students upon request.

• Modified general education curriculum for special-needs students using various instructional techniques and technologies.
• Designed and adapted materials to meet unique needs of students and families.
• Redirected students using Positive Behavior Support (PBS).

• Collaborated with 10 Assistive Technology Professionals to design supports for educators and other AT professionals within state of Wisconsin for purposes of empowering students and families with tools to access curriculum.
• Provided presentations for Assistive Technology Community of Practice meetings with Wisconsin teachers, administrators, parents, physical and speech therapists.
• Answered questions for Community of Practice members (which include over 200 school districts) and assisted educators in troubleshooting difficulties utilizing Assistive Technologies.

Community Learning Center Program Manager/ Summer Site Director

• Planned and supervised staff and students during various community events and excursions throughout Summer and Afterschool activities.
• Assisted over 20 staff in duties such as teaching classes and modeling how to provide academic enrichment organize and submit lesson plans.
