§ During an unannounced inspection, the two radioactive material (RAM) permits were evaluated to ensure compliance with Air Force and NRC. The RIC inspected sample records, interviews of personnel and procedures in place. There were no discrepancies and violations, and the inspection rating was Fully Compliant.
§ During periodic inspection, found 253 first aid kits that were not compliant with American National Standards Institute standard Z308.1. Devised and executed a plan to realign kits with regulatory guidelines, saving $25K while achieving 98% compliance in six months
§ Assisted quality assurance with investigation of safety and environmental issues, identifying over 600 individual findings and isolating 370 discrepancies for corrective action. As a result, all discrepancies were resolved within 10 days of discovery.
§ Contributed to OSHA training, environmental inspections, and contracting officer audits. Acknowledged multiple times for safety and environmental suggestions and interventions that have reduced risk facility-wide. Received multiple cash awards for these contributions.
