Overseeing all outbound drivers from the DC ensuring they have correct paperwork and information about potential problems on the roadways. Also ensuring that the drivers are aware of their destinations, time frame for deliveries and any backhaul that may be on their trips.

Also responsible for reviewing all driver dispatches assigned by the Load Logistics Managers at the East Coast Transportation Command Center, and to coordinate with the LLMs any possible alternative assignments if the dispatched may not be able to meet the delivery windows.

Generated delivery routes to nearly 170 Walmart stores throughout Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Kentucky.

Trailer Planned each outbound trip to ensure the trailers weight and cube were in compliance with the maximum allowable settings.

At Walmart DC 6017, Seymour, IN a number of positions were held including:

Traffic Problems Clerk: Responsible for assisting the receiving department with issues with the inbound trailers.

Data Entry Clerk: Responsible for keying in all of the inbound paperwork to ensure the warehouse inventory would be accurate.

Traffic Office Floater: Assisting all positions of the Traffic Office including checking in OTR Outside Carrier drivers, manifesting inbound bills for the receiving docks, bill signing, document storage and organizing pallets of office supplies in the warehouse.

Merge Area: Ensuring all cases heading to the shipping docks on the conveyors were in the correct positions to be scanned to the correct shipping lane.
