Accomplishments

Uptown Church developed and introduced Community Celebration program to increase engagement and service within community. This program was formed to build relationship, unto forgiveness for the purpose of healing between our law enforcement and our inner city community members. This program won award from ICI Nation October 2023 (Protect & Serve Volunteer of the year)
Uptown Church developed and introduced Fishing with the PoPo program to increase engagement and service within community. This program was built to bring our law enforcement and inner city kids but not limited to any child is welcome. We have been blessed to watch this program increase over the last 3 years. This program also won an award in 2023, from the Michigan Crime Prevention Association (Volunteer of the Year).
Uptown Church developed and introduced program to increase engagement and service within community. (Stop the Hate, Stop the violence, Unity walk. This program was built to bring everyone together community and law enforcement walking together to show we all want the same thing peace in our streets of Grand Rapids. This program was also awarded in 2023 by the Michigan Crime Prevention Association (Volunteer of the Year).
