Key Responsibilities:

The MTSS Intervention Coordinator will:

• Lead the site MTSS team, including representation from school departments, TLSs, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop meeting agendas for the site MTSS team.
• Conduct site MTSS fidelity Assessments at least twice per year and work with the site
• Help monitor student placement and attendance in intervention settings using 5-Star Software.
• MTSS team to develop site goals for implementation and monitor goal progress.
• Help grow and develop MTSS processes at the Freshman Academy using district implementation guidance to ensure every student receives tiered academic and behavioral support.
• Review academic and behavioral data to support MTSS teaming and data-based decision-making for tiered intervention assignments.
• Communicate with teachers providing interventions to monitor student progress for data-based decision-making.
• Compile and report on the effectiveness of interventions every month to improve district and school systems.
• Provide staff training and support for Tiered interventions and work alongside the site PD coordinator to determine and meet professional development needs.
• Develop training programs and provide ongoing coaching for leadership teams, staff, and teachers on the MTSS framework and research-based practices for tiered intervention.
• Implement an MTSS intervention management system (e.g., Panorama) and partner with school sites to ensure effective data collection, data analysis, and program evaluation and efficacy.
• Help establish data collection and analysis procedures using Panorama to inform decision-making around student needs.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with families, staff, and community members.

• Assisted in creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promoted emotional well-being and academic growth for all students.
• Supported students in developing social skills through structured activities and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Provided one-on-one support for students with learning disabilities, enabling them to excel in their coursework.
• Implemented behavior modification strategies, resulting in improved self-regulation and classroom participation among students.
