Key Responsibilities:
The MTSS Intervention Coordinator will:
- Lead the site MTSS team, including representation from school departments, TLSs, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop meeting agendas for the site MTSS team.
- Conduct site MTSS fidelity Assessments at least twice per year and work with the site
- Help monitor student placement and attendance in intervention settings using 5-Star Software.
- MTSS team to develop site goals for implementation and monitor goal progress.
- Help grow and develop MTSS processes at the Freshman Academy using district implementation guidance to ensure every student receives tiered academic and behavioral support.
- Review academic and behavioral data to support MTSS teaming and data-based decision-making for tiered intervention assignments.
- Communicate with teachers providing interventions to monitor student progress for data-based decision-making.
- Compile and report on the effectiveness of interventions every month to improve district and school systems.
- Provide staff training and support for Tiered interventions and work alongside the site PD coordinator to determine and meet professional development needs.
- Develop training programs and provide ongoing coaching for leadership teams, staff, and teachers on the MTSS framework and research-based practices for tiered intervention.
- Implement an MTSS intervention management system (e.g., Panorama) and partner with school sites to ensure effective data collection, data analysis, and program evaluation and efficacy.
- Help establish data collection and analysis procedures using Panorama to inform decision-making around student needs.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with families, staff, and community members.
