• Job duties were to provide oversight for Goldsmith Construction for various tasks including excavation of anomaly digs, trench shoring installation, coating removal, sand blasting, evaluations of anomaly call out areas, welding sleeve repairs and welding procedures, proper coating application and following the coating procedures, and backfilling of excavations after repairs were made.
• Oversaw tool runs and the safety of performing those tools runs effectively and safely.
• General oversight as far as contractors working in a safe manner and understood hazards of job tasks and how to mitigate those hazards

• Continued working with Phillips 66 providing oversight for various contractors. Switched Inspection companies for more contractors to work for and to have more opportunities other than Phillips 66.

- Assigned to Phillips 66 Western Division

- Duties were to oversee contractors during various jobs from tank battery demolition to anomaly repair excavations

- Ensured that all contractors followed all Phillips 66 policies and procedures to the particular scope of work

- Ensured that all contractors followed all Phillips 66 safety policies and procedures

- Create AIR packages for all anomaly repair excavations and submit to integrity group for approval

Operation of all types of heavy machinery to achieve general construction activities

- Overseeing and instructing crew on entire dig site of anomaly evaluation and repair including but not limited to as follows:

- Site walk through to determine best access routes, material disposal, and over all safe access to dig site

- Pre job planning and job safety analysis of job steps

- Pre job tailgate meetings every day to ensure the best possible safety of crew and how to accomplish daily goals

- Oversee the excavation of the anomaly dig to ensure 0% probability of a line strike

- Oversee the removal of coating in a timely but safe matter and that the crew is aware of possible hazards and the correct removal of coating according to company policies and procedures

-Oversee the installation of shoring to minimize the possibility of cave ins on crew members inside the excavation

- Oversee the sandblasting of in-service piping at repair area to accomplish inspection at said anomaly repair area

- Assessing the called out repair area including but not limited to:

-visual inspection of piping and uncovered welds

- measuring corroded area

- determining corrosion depths using a pit gauge

- taking pipe to soil readings

- taking UT readings for the welding of repair sleeves to ensure integrity of in-service pipe is satisfactory for welding

- To oversee welding operations and see that they are done in accordance to Phillips 66 policies

- To oversee the sand blasting of repair sleeves and inspect that they meet requirements for application of coating

- To oversee the preparation and application of coating including:

- ambient temperatures

- wet\dry bulb readings and dew point to determine the humidity and temperature are correct according to manufacturer specifications

- To oversee the inspection of coating after application an dry time using a holiday inspection tool

- To oversee the backfill and compaction of excavation

- To oversee the clean up and restoration of excavation

- To communicate with the integrity group of findings in the field and acquire the correct repair methods

- To enter all findings, repair methods, and pictures to a company AIR package for submittal to DOT for proof of repairs

- Assigned to conduct all weld mapping by construction isometric drawings and assigned each weld to specific welder

- Assigned to set up and make sure NDE percentages were kept up to date

- Mentor all JSA's and safe work practices for all crews to ensure a sage work environment for client and personnel

- Set up and monitor pressure testing on all new piping

- Assigned to build and turn over a job performance packet at end of each project to assigned construction representative

- Oversee and call inspection for all permitted concrete work

- Conducted weekly production and operations contractor meetings, which facilitated stronger communication and the ability to resolve critical issues
