Duties and responsibilities:

Full Charge Bookkeeping

  • Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including accounts payables, receivables, general ledger and bank reconciliation.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to ensure adherence to regulatory and legal requirements.

Financial Management and Reporting

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and data integrity and integration.

  • Maintain and oversee grant, donation, fiscal sponsorship and programming finances and reporting requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Collaborate with Executive Directors and board members to create and manage annual budgets.
  • Monitor budget variances and provide ongoing analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders to inform decision-making.

Other responsibilities

  • Responsible for Wordpress website administration, including management of all plugins, backend transactions, and merchant accounts, web page development and maintenance, and collaboration with Google analytics admins.
  • Currently participating in development of a comprehensive strategic plan for the organization.
