After working as a coaching consultant with The Pacific Institute since 2003, created The Pacific Institute Community at the request of TPI Chairman, Lou Tice.
Led restructuring of this South Central, Los Angeles congregational system and leadership to be a ministry driven, “permission giving” system. This effort included establishing mission, vision, core values and beliefs along with moving from a committee structure to an action, team-oriented system. Increased worship attendance seventy-five percent.
Joined with Pete Carroll, USC Football Coach (later Seattle Seahawks), and Lou Tice, Chairman of The Pacific Institute, to create an organization with the vision of stopping violence and creating peace and prosperity in South Central, Los Angeles.
Continued work (16 years total) with gang-involved people, focusing on 18-32 year old, to interrupt violence and serve them to their self-determined, healthy goals and outcomes.
Provided cognitive psychology based instruction, coaching, and education to individuals, leaders, and state and local government organizations to increase efficacy, improve performance, and develop constructive cultures.
