Provide single provider coverage overnight in a rural emergency department.

Evaluate and/or stabilize, treat and manage medical emergencies, as well as provide typical emergency medical care to the community.

• Team with other PAs/physicians, specialists and health care providers to provide well-rounded care for complex cases.
• Conduct advanced procedures such as intubations and central line insertions in emergency care situation.
• Rapidly analyze and respond to critical situations such as cardiovascular, abdominal and neurological in emergency situations, as well as manage typical medical and complaints and social issues seen in the emergency department setting.

• Diagnosed and managed complex medical conditions associated with tropical and disease patterns and navigated challenges unique to culture and geography.
• Implemented therapeutic regimens involving medications and other interventions to mitigate symptoms and prevent reoccurrence.

• Maintained levelheadedness and efficiency in high-pressure situations, effectively prioritizing tasks to save lives and provide medical care.
