Summary

Hey, my name is Gregory Alan Bee III, I mostly go by my last name in a workplace. I learned a lot over the years, I’ve had many jobs that are focused on manual labor and discipline. I’ve worked in high stress, fast paced, poorly managed environments. My previous experiences have built my tolerance and discipline, I pride myself on the work I do and simply strive to do the best job I can based on my capabilities. I’ve had a lot of experience over the years with working on cars, restoring, and maintaining my own vehicles as well as friends and family. I have completed numerous repairs such as brakes, top engine repairs, tune ups, as well as normal preventative maintenance. Cars is my passion and it just makes sense to me, it’s what I wanna do with the rest of my life, I want to learn and grow within the automotive industry and become the best mechanic/technician that I possibly can. It’s just something about engines and cars in general, I love taking care of them, repairing, maintaining, modifying, all of it, it’s my dream, my passion, and I really care about the job I’m doing as well as my reputation within the industry.

Airboat Mechanic

Captain Jack’s Airboat Tours
02.2021 - 11.2021

My job was mostly manual labor, cleaning up the property, cleaning/repairing boardwalks, lawn care, pressure washing. Other than the labor my job was to diagnose and repair any damage done to the boats/engine. It’s pretty primitive technology and all fairly simple. Old Chevy big blocks like 454’s and such with an adapter kit going to the props, I learned a lot about engines and how to work on them/maintain them.

  • Inspected and tested equipment to locate worn and damaged parts.
  • Performed diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures to find and identify root causes of mechanical issues.
  • Performed preventative maintenance oil changes to preserve performance and reliability of engines.
  • Kept equipment in good working order by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining supplies.
  • Repaired exhaust, electrical, top engine, and other systems on older Chevy and Ford engines from 90s and older.
