  • Created and implemented all of DFT's current laboratory practices and procedures. This included laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. During this time period, I also developed and implemented protocols to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implemented new systems for data management, reducing errors and increasing data accessibility for personnel. This led to a significant decrease in sample submittal time as well as a decrease in reporting errors
  • Coordinated cross-departmental initiatives to streamline workflows and resource allocation. This included working closely with our internal customers to ensure the data that is being provided meets the needs of the external customers.
  • Responsibilities include familiarity with ICPOES, Mass Spectrometry, FTIR, XRF/XRD, and other various colorimetric analytic tools.
  • Responsible for all SDS creation and maintenance.
  • All laboratory reports and deliverables are processed or okayed through a document review process that I created and implemented.
  • Other responsibilities include equipment maintenance (if possible), consumables ordering, data verification, and evaluate new technologies to improve laboratory processes and outcomes.
  • I am well versed in scale modeling for water applications and very familiar with French Creek and ScaleSoftPitzer.
  • I have completed the first NACE corrosion program and am familiar with all types of corrosion causes.
  • For the past 15 years I have been involved in well stimulation treatment designs and alternative treatments that could result in production increases.

  • Started and managed Drilling Fluids Roosevelt Utah yard from 2005 to 2008. Managed daily operations to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. As well as meet the daily needs of our external customers.
  • Developed and implemented training programs for new staff, enhancing team capabilities.
  • Monthly revenue during this time period increased by a factor of eighty percent.
  • Costs where kept as low as possible by fine tuning inventory management and personal oversight.
  • During this same time period, I was also the only DFT salesman in the Rocky Mountain Region. My sales area covered Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado.
  • Coordinated regional sales strategies, driving market penetration across the Rocky Mountains. This allowed us to generate revenues and show growth in other more obscure areas of revenue.

  • At C. H. Guernsey & Co I was a project manager overseeing multiple utility privatization contracts involving the USAF and US Navy. Responsibilities included project oversight and briefings for military personnel as well as utility system assessments. This included extensive use of Microsoft applications. My responsibilities migrated into GIS projects for several USAF locations.
