My name is Greg and a graduate from Marshall University. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biological Science and a minor in Chemistry.Skilled medical and clinical laboratory technologist with background in conducting complex diagnostic testing. Possess strong analytical skills, adept at troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining high standards of quality control. Successful in collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes through accurate and timely diagnostic services. Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in fast-paced environments, enhancing laboratory productivity and efficiency.
-Fundamental Molecular Diagnostics/Testing for STI, UTM/Abr, Covid and Fluvid. Department consist of Quarterly/scheduled API testing, Clea inspections and competency testing for each discipline/method.
- Laboratory maintenance routines recorded with Instrument/equipment maintenance logs, rerun logs, Qc forms, troubleshooting logs, optimization/stability/correlation logs, safety equipment inspections and scheduled methodology training. Department distributes qualitative data/results to physicians using the LimsABC reporting systems.
Primarily instrumental driven with the use of the Abacus (hematology), Access (chemistry), AU480 (chemistry) replacing the EasyRA (Chemistry). Primarily focus is quantitative results for CMP/Lipid, CBC, A1C, Amylase/Lipase and other chemistry/hematology disciplines. Smear analysis for patient quality of whole blood and other biological staining processes.
