- I farmed with my father my whole life until February 2025.
- Farmed 1,500 acres last year: 750 acres of beans, 300 acres of irrigated corn, 100 acres of dryland corn, and the remainder alfalfa.
- Developed farm ground is to be irrigated. Took out trees and fences, built dams, bought used pivots, moved them, and rebuilt them on our ground.
- Was responsible for labor-intensive and management-intensive irrigation methods to make our farm more productive.
- Repaired, maintained, and operated all equipment on the farm.
- Maintained and operated a pull-type 90 ft sprayer and a Miller 100 ft self-propelled sprayer.
- 120 sows, farrow-to-finish; 200 head cow-calf operation. We fed them out.
