With over 12 years of experience as an entrepreneurial and results-driven attorney—six of which I dedicated to leading my own law firm, employing six people—I excel in building effective relationships, conducting insightful performance analyses, fostering innovation, and executing strategic planning. These competencies have fueled meaningful achievements in both private practice and public service.
As the principal and managing attorney of my firm, I was responsible for analyzing the business’s performance and implementing innovative enhancements that not only boosted service delivery and operational efficiency but also secured consistent year-over-year revenue growth. This success paved the way for the sale of my practice and my subsequent partnership at Kohrman, Jackson & Krantz LLP.
In my capacity as the deputy director of a state agency, I cultivated strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and developed and executed strategic plans to manage a division composed of four units and 25 employees to drive the economic growth and support the success of minority- and woman-owned businesses. Indeed, during my administration of the State of Ohio’s Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) program, achieved the program’s goals for the first time in its then 35-year history, representing a record amount of state economic opportunities for historically underutilized businesses.
Both in leading my firm and in public service, I leveraged innovation, alongside creative and critical thinking, to navigate the legal and regulatory landscapes proactively. This approach enabled me to anticipate trends and seize opportunities, ensuring adaptability and success in the ever-evolving legal field.
