Performed a wide variety of jobs including framing and insulation, siding using cedar shakes, roofing using cedar shakes and composite shingles, as well as painting and labor-intensive jobs such as hauling lumber and digging ditches for water and sewer lines
Assisted with concrete work including building footings and monowalls, pouring concrete, and cutting and removing concrete

Monitored, sprayed, and brush cut noxious weeds in both city and rural areas, while also carrying backpack sprayers in rough and remote terrain
Worked on private land thinning forests with chainsaws and removing the material in order to create a more fire resiliant landscape
Used forest material removed from thinning projects within creeks in order to create P.A.L.S., post assisted log systems, to facilitate better steelhead habitat and help restore the riparian areas back to natural conditions. Participated in both manual and helicopter methods in order to move the materials for construction into remote locations while also using hydraulic post pounders during actual construction of the P.A.L.S.
Assisted with real-time intelligence collection by conducting field reconnaissance operations
Conducted stream assessments for previously constructed P.A.L.S. while also determining where new ones should be located
Performed equipment maintenance on chainsaws and brush cutters
