Assisted the PACS Administrator in the day to day responsibilities related to training and maintenance of the radiology PACS System.

• Performed high quality radiologic, CT and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitored patient's well-being during exams and recognized discomfort or medical problems and took appropriate action.
• Assisted radiologists with image-guided body biopsies and thyroid biopsies.
• Responded to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

Maintains all remote PACS workstations located at 19 different locations across 4 states.

Trains all new SMB Radiologists in the use of Radiology PACS, PowerScribe and all related software they use in their day to day workflow.

Remotely Troubleshoots issues at these locations.

Manages contracts and issues related to business internet connectivity at these remote locations, including 5 hospitals/imaging centers.

Assist the radiology group in the selection on new software and hardware.

• Administers Radiology Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) for a large medical Center.
• Responsible for maintaining all radiology IT systems including Radiology Voice Recognition System (PowerScribe One), Image Sharing Platform (PowerShare) as well as all other Radiology IT programs.
• Trains hospital staff and physicians on the use of these systems.
• Maintains servers and networking for radiology systems.
• Troubleshoots issues in the radiology department.
• Liaisons with a multitude of vendors.
• Radiology Department Project Manager for all new construction, imaging equipment, and IT software installations and implementation.
• Negotiates all IT related contracts for Radiology and processes the contracts through legal review and approval by the Board if Trustees.

• Reviewed physicians' orders to determine medical imaging needs and operated radiologic equipment to capture, develop and produce diagnostic images.
• Captured images using mobile equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms and patients' bedsides.
• Minimized patients' exposure to radiation with beam-restrictive devices and shielding techniques.
• Educated patients on procedure details, provided instructions and answered questions to minimize anxiety and improve cooperation.
