- As a construction laborer for Professional Drywall, I helped construct homes for retirees and single mothers at many sites in the Detroit area. As a laborer, I would move and discard drywall, corner bead, drywall mud, adhesives, windows, metal scraps, and many other materials so that the other professions, such as hangers, tapers, and painters, could perform their jobs without injury from different items in the units they were working in. I also cleaned bathtubs that were used incorrectly by workers in the units.
