I am seeking to obtain the instructional coach position at Tejas School of Choice. I have worked in a high school setting for the past 7 years. I teach English II, Speech, and EOC II. I have taught on line and organized on-line classes. I have led teacher PLC meetings. I have worked alongside instructional consultants on curriculum and improving student engagement. I have attended several conferences and brought back information to campus that was used school wide for SEL classes. I have been on a teach to lead committee that worked on student engagement.
I have lead the student council at our school. I have stepped in to help develop lesson plans for an English position when the teacher has been out. I have excellent teacher/student rapport. I love teaching, researching, and helping others.
