ADMINISTRATION DUTIES
- Obtain patients authorisation and confirmation for dialysis by contacting medical aids with patients relevant details.
- Cbarging for all dialysis sessions by completing charge sheets after each dialysis session.
- Update patient documentation by documenting all treatments, patient progress, observations and conditions pre, during and post dialysis

QUALITY INITIATIVE PROGRAMME
- Determining dialysis adequacy for all patients in the unit by performing kt/V and analysing the results
- Managing patients nutritional status to ensure that patients are well nourished.
- Managing patients anaemia profile according to anaemia management protocol.
- Caring for all patients vascular access to ensure that patients are receiving adequate dialysis and to reduce vascular related complications.
- Adhere to safe work ethics and creating a safe physical environment by complying with infection control standards .
- Mantaining the water system and dialysis machines by sanitising and sterilising the R.O. and machines.
PATIENT CARE
- Administered hemodialysis treatments to patients in renal failure.
- Initiated and terminated dialysis according to clinic protocol
- Collected and recorded vital signs of pre and post dialysis.
- Monitored patients during hemodialysis treatment including vital signs, machine checks and other related activities.
- Reported any unusual results to the nurse immediately.
- Maintained a safe environment for patients and staff by following clinic procedures and policies.
