Carbon Steel Petty Officer -
- Monitored and maintained carbon steel steam piping and fittings in reactor plant, focusing on corrosion prevention and structural integrity of systems transporting high-pressure steam.
- Implemented preventive maintenance schedules, reducing downtime and extending equipment lifespan significantly.
Shaft Alley Patrol -
- Monitored performance of propulsion shaft bearings and lubrication systems. Assisted in maintaining mechanical connections from steam-driven turbines to propellers to prevent overheating and leakage.
Cold Iron Watch -
- Monitored the Propulsion Plant and maintained plant conditions for ship operation and ensured safety on operational components.
Reactor Auxiliaries:
Work Controls Leader -
- Lead a whole division by becoming Work Controls Lead working with my Work Center Supervisor and wrote Work Authorization Forms and issued tag-outs to conduct maintenance throughout the Emergency Diesel Generators in Reactor Department.
- Mentored and guided 27 sailors in drafting Work Authorization Forms to ensure effective maintenance and restoration of system integrity.
- Conducted routine inspections and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, enhancing reliability and safety standards.
Diesel Operator -
- Monitored Emergency Diesel Generators and its specifications to standard regulations for preperation into emergency situations such as losing power throughout the whole ship.
