• Design of Electrochemical Power Source, 09/2019, 05/2021, Studied and researched the development of an electrochemical power source that would be used to power a motorized vehicle. Also constructed a three-cell stopping mechanism using a separate chemical reaction as the braking system, through a timed reaction. A multi-disciplinary project bringing together mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineers to optimize the vehicle to perform in a wide variety of environments. The vehicle was raced at a nationally recognized competition, where conditions of the racetrack would be unknown beforehand with various other vehicles from other universities, ultimately ranking 6th in the region.
• Design of a Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle, 01/2016, 05/2016, Studied and researched the construction of a UROV with a multi-disciplinary team. This project simulated an oil leak at the bottom of the ocean, which teams had to work together to clear debris and cap off the leak in a timely manner. Teams worked to create efficient designs of UROV using PVC pipes, while three motors were attached to propel the UROV at points which helped it go up, down, and forward. This design was successfully able to clear debris and cap off the leak in more than enough time.
