Summary

Born in Portland Oregon, I have always had a knack for reading, writing and history as a whole. Throughout my years in college either at Clackamas Community College as well as my last three years at PLU I have been able to further develop my skills as a historian and as someone who hope to teach someday.

I have spent the past four summers fighting wildfires with the Oregon Department of Forestry in Eastern Oregon. This has been some of the best and most fun work that I have ever had the privilege to do but at the same time has been some of the hardest work I have done. THis job has taught me and enforced ideals and standards that I have always held close to heart growing up of hard work, long hours, punctuality, diligent documentation, positive communication skills and team building.
